Established in 2018, Craig’s Barbershop is committed to offering high-quality, value-for-money haircuts and styles for men and women, as well as grooming for male clients.
Craig Henderson is a registered senior barber with the Barber Council, also a member of the British master barbers, he began his hairdressing career as a 17-year-old working in a unisex hair salon in Bolton town centre. He has always had a passion for barbering and wanted to create a personal experience for clients at his own shop.
He realised that male clients were looking for an enjoyable and relaxing haircut or shave, in a comfortable and friendly environment, and women didn't want to pay over the odds for a pixie or short-style haircut.
In 2018, Craig opened his own shop in Tonge Moor, Bolton, offering men and women the efficient yet enjoyable experience they had been looking for.
Craig’s Barbershop is a family business that is owned and managed by Craig Henderson and his partner, Sarah Timmins. Craig has more than 15 years of experience as a professional barber and hairdresser. He is the personal barber/hairdresser to a handful of professional sporting figures and musicians. Sarah has a beauty and holistic background, and also created our sister company Xanthe Jewellery.
Craig’s Barber Shop is affiliated with the mental wellbeing charity, The Lions Barber Collective. As a Lions Barber, he has been trained to create a safe space for his clients to feel comfortable to talk about their mental health. In this way he aim to support the community where appropriate and help reduce the stigma around talking about mental health.
